Proxy Bidding
Placing a maximum bid, which
is held in confidence by Ebanned. Ebanned will use only as much of the maximum
bid as is necessary to maintain the bidder's high
bid position.
Because of this, it may appear that two bidders have "tied" in
their fight to win an item. This is not so and will never happen on a
regular listing. If you have two bidders with what appears to be the
same bid, it means that the first bidder (the winner) had a proxy set
and the second bidder (not the winner) entered the same amount as the
first bidder. In this case, the first person who bid, wins. |
