Issues Logging In

Having problems logging in? If you are receiving an error that reads "You do not have access to this area", you need to do the following:

IMPORTANT TO DO FIRST!!!
Clear your cache. (if you don't know how....search google for your browser information)

THEN:

Log out (even if it says you are already logged out):
http://www.ebanned.net/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?action=login

That will delete the cookie on your computer.

The re-log in using this link:
http://www.ebanned.net/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?action=login
You may be told it's not working, if so, you didn't clear your cache. Do that, try again. If still not working, try viewing your Auction Manager, you may be logged in but your computer may not recognize it yet. This works for nearly everyone.

If this does not work for you, then you will need to manually delete the cookie for Ebanned.

To do this, you can do one of two things:

Clear your cookies (if you don't know how....search google for your browser information)

View your cookies, look for the one that reads ebanned.net and delete it.

THEN do the above again.

That will fix your problem.

What causes this? We do not know. Perhaps recent updates to browsers, or other software on the internet for your computer, but we have not changed our log in system in any way. This problem has affected an estimated 20% of our member so we have not been able to pin down the real culprit behind the problem.

As long as you carefully follow the steps outlined above, you will have no problems logging back into your account as long as you are a current member in good standing.
