Update to the End of Auction Fee

Today, we are announcing that Ebanned will be making changes to the final value fee effective March 1, 2007. Items that end beginning at 12:01 AM March 1, 2007, 2007 will be charged based on the new fees.

The fee changes are listed below:
 

Additional listing fees and upgrades will remain the same. (But be on the lookout for some new and exciting features!)

We have put off raising the final value fee for many months in consideration of world events and other issues. I order to continue to offer you the services and quality you have come to expect with Ebanned, this is a step will must take in order to continue.

We continue to thank you for your business and loyalty.

On November 1 of this year, Ebanned celebrates it's 5th anniversary.

As a token of our appreciation, we are offering 0.05 listing fees for 5 days! Beginning November 1st through November 5th, all basic listing fees are only 0.05.

We sincerely appreciate your business and loyalty for these past 5 years and are looking forward to serving your needs in the future years.

Thank you for being here with us as we celebrate this monumental event!

Update to the End of Auction Fee

Today, we are announcing that Ebanned will be making changes to the final value fee effective October 1, 2005. Items that end after midnight Central Standard Time on October 1, 2005 will be charged based on the new fees.

The fee changes are listed below:
 

Additional listing fees and upgrades will remain the same.

We understand that an increase in fees may be a hardship to some and was only put into effect after careful consideration. This small increase will help us continue to provide you with the quality of service you've come to expect and allow is to continue to add more and new exciting features to our already feature-rich service.

Seller Banned Bidder Feature Updated

The banned bidder feature has now been updated to prohibit all bidders on your banned bidder list from using the Ask Seller A Question feature to contact you.

Reduced Listing Fees for 2 Days!

Please accept our thanks for your loyalty and business by enjoying 2 full days of 0.05 basic listing fees.

We wish everyone at Ebanned a safe and Happy New Year.

Previously, we had announced that your billing statement would read EBANNED within 30 days. We would like to let our members know that we have extended that indefinitely.

When we do switch the name you will see on your statement, you will be given plenty of notice in advance and the option to continue discreetly billing under our current billing name for your privacy.

At this time, we'd also like to announce our upcoming holiday hours.
Beginning December 23rd at 5 PM until December 27th at 7 AM, we will extend our response time on email support to 48-72 hours instead of the usual 24 hours.

Our Registration department will be closed on Christmas day. Registrations will resume as normal on December 26th.

The Prohibited Items list has been updated to further clarify what is not permitted so there is less confusion.

At this time, we'd also like to announce that within 30 days, all billing that was previously done under the name of Kangaroo Candle, will change to EBANNED on your credit card statements. We are not printing the url on the statement, however at some time time the future, we may be required to.

Our Terms of Service has been updated and will be considered in effect for all current members on November 1, 2004 and immediately for all new registering members. Please read it carefully as some of your listing options have been changed.

Our Prohibited Items list has also been changed to disallow certain types of listings that may reflect poorly on the type of image Ebanned wishes to maintain.

Service Announcement: On October 26, 2004 all registrations will be shut down while we restructure our registration process. This process may last several days or several hours. Once the restructure process is done, new members will have an even stronger set of guidelines to follow to join so that current members and new members may feel more secure during their stay at Ebanned. We may, at this point, decide to charge a registration fee for all new members to help ensure that new members have a vested interest in being a productive and valued member of the community.

The way you view Ebanned has changed!

In a continuing effort to keep minors or unauthorized viewers from using the site, all members will be required to log in before viewing the listings or Me pages.

Our log in system has been updated to make it compatible with most major browser platforms. A new security featured has been installed that will automatically log you off when you close your browser window (or for AOL users, when you log off AOL).

Other features, including an update to your Auction Manger should make this site more secure for members and easier than ever to use! As always, your comments are welcome, contact us here.

Updated payment options for sellers making payments on their accounts - Effective immediately, Ebanned will no longer allow account payments to be made by Paypal or ANY online service. All account payments will have to made with a valid credit card on file.

Due to Paypal's no adult policy, this will no longer be an option. We apologize in advance for any hardship this may create.

Updated the Terms of Service - Effective immediately, Ebanned will no longer allow ANY type of raffle or "date/escort" type listings. 

This would include any type of auction that will facilitate any type of meeting between the buyer and seller.

Please report any listing violations by contacting Ebanned.

Updated the Listing Policy - Effective immediately, the minimum starting bid for any listing will be $1.00

Updated the Dutch Relist - Effective immediately, all Dutch (multiple piece) auctions will now relist for free when the relist option is selected at listing time. Previously, this option was only available for single item listings.

Updated the Fee Structure - Effective immediately, all auctions with an ending bid, or fixed price amount of $5.00 or less, will have a minimum $0.10 Final Value Fee. All items with an ending bid of $5.01 or higher will have only the standard 2% Final Fee. Read the Fee Structure page.

Updated the Prohibited Items List - Items that are prohibited now include any type of of feedback padding auctions and items that solicit sales over the amount of the ending or fixed price bid. Read the Prohibited Items List.

Updated the Listing Policy- Listings found violating the linking policy will have a $1.00 fee applied to every instance. If the instances exceed more than 5 in any 30 day calendar month, the items will be removed and no fees will be refunded. Effective immediately.
